A great place to worship and grow

Let’s get to know better:
Jan & Cutter Scherr

Cutter and Jan transferred to St. Luke’s about a year or so ago. In their own family there are two children, and Cutter and Jan have also made a real place for themselves in our St. Luke’s family.
Cutter will be serving as one of our delegates to Diocesan Convention being held in Racine October 14-15. Jan helps by doing laundry for Kids Kloset and serves as a Sunday lesson reader.
Before coming to St. Luke’s Cutter was a swim coach and teacher at Pulaski for many years. Jan was a teacher too and worked at the South Milwaukee Library. She was very active in the reconstruction process of the Diocesan ECW.
Both enjoy swimming and working out at the YMCA and are affiliated with the Boerner Botanical Gardens. Along with their other pursuits, Cutter likes to read while Jan likes to keep busy knitting and sewing. She also serves as a Docent at the Milwaukee Art Museum and belongs to the Oblate Order of Julian of Norwich, a contemplative order of the Episcopal Church.
If you haven’t already done so, make sure to make yourselves known to the Scherrs.
