Episcopalians jokingly refer to Coffee Hour as the 8th Sacrament! We love to gather around the table share life together because nothing connects us like food and the table. In a sense, it is a continuation of the Eucharistic Feast we celebrated before Coffee Hour.
During the pandemic, a wonderful team of parish members set out to collect recipes from each other as a way of maintaining and nurturing the connection that makes St. Luke's such a life-giving community. The format is simple and intended to be easily updated even beyond the pandemic. Please see the links below, as we gathered enough recipes to have two parts to our cookbook!!!
So without further adieu, we present to you the St. Luke's Quarantine Cookbook! We hope it helps fill your stomachs with good nourishment, and your hearts and souls with the gift of connection to this wonderful community of Faith!
